This is a nice large (1-3/8 inches high) 1936 dated badge, with a plow, hammer, sword, and an eagle on the face.

What is it made of? I've had many of these pins in the past & some were even in plastic.

Albert Ihne Ludenscheid is the maker - there is a German postcard on ebay with his company stamp. (Metallwarenfabrik)

There seems to be no corrosion is why I asked & the plastic 1's I've had came from veterans in the 50's & were definitely authentic. The 1's I remember were a silver-grey plastic. A vet gave me 2 beautiful rabbit fur caps & both had plastic eagle with swastika. The fur was so thick that you couldn't see the eagles & I wore one to school when it was really cold.

It is an aluminum alloy with a press fitted spring pin.

I had plenty of those too. later they stopped using aluminium because it was needed in the aircraft industry. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
