I am looking for some information on this sign. I can not find it on any sites yet. It is an add for the new Plume Vacuum Pump. Looks to be late 40's or early 50's add painted on a tin sign. The sign is in good shape with a few dings and scratches. Nice piece but I really would like to get it appraised or at least get some information on it.

A little history in the link,Plume is the brand of gas, maybe like High octane? And looks to be pre- 1954.
Here in the U.S. ,Vacuum oil was gone by 1930,after that it was called SOCONY-VACUUM.
Hope this helps!
Thank you gargoyle collector. I wonder if this was an Australian Advertisement that was brought to Michigan. I could not find it in Australian info either. The Plume name was prominent there but with a different logo and with different pumps. I'll keep looking.
Probably brought to Michigan, you have to remember it is old(late 40's I also believe) pumps make no difference, and the "plume "brand would have been used under any of the Mobil companies ,not specifically Vacuum oil co.I am not sure what names they would have used in Australia ,but I will look in to that.
