My Unusual Bottle Find

I found this in a box of bottles from a previous collector. I researched and researched and it's actually cool that I can't find much information on it. The seal contains: "La Veloce Navigazione Italiana", and a small star with an anchor and flag below it. The only information I have found with the same/similar wording is a company founded in 1884 that ran passenger ships. I would assume that this company commissioned wine or other drink bottled for its passengers. Olive green, 12 7/8" tall.
