I never hit estate sales the day they open...or at least the few hours of opening. It's too crazy, too many dealers, too many people pushing.
Well this Friday was different. A huge estate with a TON of Scandinavian glass and a ton of Bjorn Winblad. I got there early, and was number 6 in line. Two dealers that I know ahead of me. Tons and tons of Iittala glass there too. On your mark, get set...go!!!
I won't depress you with what I didn't get. Sniff...
I did get this beautiful BW for Rosenthal vase. So blue and lovely.
I was trolling the kitchen and found this face. Not sure if it is a lid or a stand alone. Thoughts?
I also got a whole lot of Ultima Thule...8 pieces!
I can't think about what I missed...Iittala birds...I just can't!

I have to say Carlos doesn't really like Winblad, but i find his quite quite fun, and that's enough (I guess by now everybody must know my we're-in-this-world-to-smile theory ;) )
I really love this peice. AmberRose I know W-Germany is collectable to-day what I am wondering is E-Germany as collectable hope you can help.

I have the rusty French but I really wish is that I had the Spanish. I could/would use it daily. No use for French in the States...but Spanish...
