My mother gave me this No. 43441/2 WEAR-EVER ALUMINUM 4.5 quart pot 15-16 years ago. I just found the poor thing when I emptied out the cabinets at coffee island. I didn't use it very much because it took longer to heat than my other pots. I don't know what the M K stands for, or which category to put this in.
I'm going to vote "?". but it isn't an option. Maybe I will consult with staff about adding it.
LoL well thank you Blunder
You keep pictures on your stovetop? :)
Of course, its a stay thin tactic!! Just kidding. I'm packing/boxing, everything is out of place at the moment.
I Aim to please Amy. Had a nice weekend? (even without me). Well, I can be frustrating & lead to premature dementia. Talking with friends about my ex-girlfriends who commonly leave speaking in "tongues" or at best in languages not known. Somebody actually suggested the ridiculous theory that maybe it might be me causing it. Isn't that absurd?!!
A nice weekend without you is absurd!!
Some consider it a blessing. Back to the pics on the stove. Do we know each other. That happens to be one of the signs I've noticed.
I had to unpack more boxes and totes than I want to think about... looking for a dish that I sold on ebay. That's how the photos ended up on my cooktop.
After unpacking everything in the house and building outback, I found the dish in the kitchen cabinet o.O
Thank you for the love agh :^)
I don't see an "agh" that gave a love & I gave a "?". And the 1st part of #8 is what they all say.LOL. Are you sure we don't know each other? You haven't used the name "Sue" from Providence?
Hmmm someone is in rare form tonight. LoL
I'm sure and noooooo I'd never use that name
Thank you for the love Phil
Yeah, been raining for most of 4 days now & getting cabin-fever. They are "improving?" the airport & disassembled the hangar & I don't work in the rain. Thinking about "drive-bys" to break the boredom.
LoL!! Holy Terror You must be on that once peaceful island.
LMBO, HAHAHAHAHA! You both are hilarious! Still giggling! =)
lol, but back to the pot... that didn't sound good at all, but anyway. Aim we still have and use this same exact pot for boiling tea for ice tea, never wash it, just to add flavor to the next batch. btw used at least once a day
yeah!!back to the pot!!
I understand from ole-timers, that it was peaceful until I arrived. I seem to have that effect anywhere I go. This is just a good example of why it is not wise to import non-indigenous species into an area that is defenseless to that species.
And all this started with a cheap pot! LOL
Always happy to make someone giggle Tom :^)
Wow Kerry, very serious tea drinkers. I love it myself, and make it about every 2-3 days. I boil, then allow it to steep for at least 20-30 mins. I like to allow it too cool to room temperature before sweetening. I actually thought about boiling some in this pot right after I washed it real good. Maybe tomorrow ;^)
Hey now! How dare you insinuate my pot is cheap. It will cost you dearly for that next glass of sweet tea :^P
That's Gargo,
I've been told backgrounds distract from the piece.
Whew have I learned my lesson. LoL
Thank you for the loves....

YOU can charge whatever you like Amy! Is steeping what I am to call "letting it sit" for up to 24 hrs? I do add Splenda at some point in there. Have noticed that after 24 hrs., I sometimes get lumpy tea.
Gargo, you know I just like to look at the pretty pictures. LoL
Ewwwuah Blunder, but I am laughing my butt off!!
okay here I'm about to commit to an answer.... Beings I'm a hillbilly for starter, the "M K" is an easy mystery to solve, heck everybody knows Ma Kettle, is one of her own famous cooking line, a lot like Martha Stewart is today :-)))
Omg........ am I rolling now!!!!! Way too funny Kerry
I'm going to go with *Mama's Kettle* since that's what my son calls me ;^)
Kerry you really came up with two good ones
