I do not know any thing about this bottle. It is the only one I have come across through out my bottle collecting times. I dug this bottle in downtown Savannah in an early 1880's dump. I listed it under ink's but I know it is not a ink. This is a type of dye bottle that was used for bluing your work pants and shirts. I have found other types of bottles like this in aqua but this is the only one I have seen in brown.
