Rain is falling on my head...lalalla...
This night we had the worst night ever.
At 4 o'clock we woke up by dripping sounds. Turns out the roof in our bedroom was leaking LOTS of water in our build-in closet. The closet was filled with books that are dear to my family and the wardrobe of me and my husband.
So we had to put all clothes and books on the floor in the middle of the night, making sure there were empty buckets for the leaking water.
As you can imagine, I was pretty tired and cold today at work. :-)
The roof will be fixed soon, ensurance will cover most book and clothing damage, but its not a nice thing to be woken up with the sound of dripping water!
This necklace reminds me of a pretty clean pool or lake and a nice warm sun in summertime. I love that thought! Its made in the sixties or seventies. I really like its colors and its style. I haven't worn it yet because the links fall off easily, I should fix them with something.

Hey Val, thanks for loving my necklace! My stuff will be fine. And the damage will be repaired. If only it would stop raining some time soon, the leaking roof could finally be fixed! :-)

Hello, What a history from your leaking. It's good to have an insurance. We had also terrible storm and rain that night, even two small tornados which is not very common in our climat. But the world's climat is up site down by the woreld wide pollution. We all have ta wake up!
By the way nice vintage necklace I hope for you your house will soon cleaned!!
