This is a well preserved firechief pedal car. I had one like this is the 60's but my father ran over it with his 1950 Pontiac. It was durable and a lot of fun for a low tech toy...

Was it as much fun after it was made into a "low-boy"? Sorry. The devil made me do it!

So you're the one who started the Low Rider scene.

Sorry, but that "low tech" remark opened up everything after mentioning that it got run over. If you were into recycling in those days, you could have made a high-tech sled out of it with a bell. Sorry! I know that was a bad memory but at least you have one. 5 straight days of rain here is beginning to separate me from reality!

To all you GUYS! I enjoy the comments...! I have busted on my father for decades about it. It was a cool blue pedal car that I loved and looked exactly like the one I found. It is amazing what they're worth now. Mine was salvageable but my Dad threw it away. I wished now we'd tried to straighten it from it's low rider look.

Probably would have been cheaper back then. Body work is at a premium these days.
