Does anyone know what this is? It’s 8 inches long by 5 inches wide, with a wooden handle. The rollers are smooth and it’s pretty heavy. Made of iron I think since there is some rust. I’ve never seen anything like this but maybe you have.

Can you read the patent date or number?
What is written along the handle?

No. I tried to do a rubbing but there's too much wear and rust on it to see anything.

I believe this is a lattice strip cutter used to cut strips in dough to make a lattice on tops of pies. The roller looks to be cast aluminum, not the same metal as the steel handle. (you can check that with a magnet)

A very similar tool is used to roll the air out of fiberglass matting after resin is applied!?

A Cross Roller Fluting Iron; the base is missing.
