I have this old desk and not sure of the date or who makes this. I did find a patent no 1805858. Anyone know where I can find the correct information on this desk??

There were a number of companies that made these and they were not comfortable to sit in all day. I can also tell you I am probably older than this desk because they came out when I was in elementary school. Pretty common to find at flea markets and yard sales but fun if you have children or grand children.

Your patent # shows up for something else (fire related item)-- double check your patent numbers. Sometimes a "3" looks like an "8". You can check the # by going to "google patent search" and see the original patent information.

The lack of an inkwell hole would make me think that this one is later.
