I gave up trying to identify this vase, I loved it particulary with light behind it. sadly it don;t fit with any of my wife's interior decorations, so it is shut away in a cupboard. When I originally started researching I initially thought I had a fish vase, I now think i have a Lollipop vase? as for the style & colour i'd appreciate any feedback.
It is signed Micheal Harris Midina glass, part of my research highlighted how there are fake signed Mdina, any help to identify it I would be greatful.

definitely looks like Mdina, if I remember it correctly M Harris was known for almost never putting his name on his pieces, so this must be special piece. http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/albums/userpics/mdina_fish_vase_base.jpg
