Pigeon Blood is a color that is a ruby color with a tinge of orange in it. Some pieces are frosted and some shiney. Here are four examples of shakers that are in this color. Produced by Consolidated Glass, they produced a number of shaker patterns in this color.
On the left is the Melon, Nine Rib and is fairly scarce to find. They are made of very thin glass and Im sure may broke over the years.
Next is Daisy Long Petal and is also very scarce in this color.
Bulging Loops in this color is the easiest of this pattern to find in this color. Most Bulging Loops are very popular and hard to find.
Right, is Leaf, Overlapping and again, this color is rarly found in this pattern.
As you can read, when it comes to this color, rarity is all over the place and its always fun when you are able to find one.
Thanks please check out my other posts, Ive done that with a few posts.
Thanks again
