    I found this among some stored things, and I am wondering if it is a piece from an old, wooden box camera. My father had one long ago. I thought it might be an item used in loom weaving, but have asked a loom weaver and she is not familiar with anything like it.

      Kerry, many thanks for your reply and identification! Decades ago in the 1960s, my mother had a stereoscope viewer. I don't know what happened to it, however this part of it somehow stayed behind.
