I got it out of the back of my nabors pick-up. Its a camelback. Its around late 1930's early 40's i put the peddels, seat, basket on it i'm planning to put new white wall tires on it bc old ones were with it and there soon dry rotted. I did paint job, not sure what the organial paint was. Dont know what the brand is or anything because the headbadge was ripped off. and i found one something like it on the computer and the bid was up to $207.50. I just really love antiques im only 18 but i like this bike and i just want to laern more about to because people are always asking me about it and i wish i could tell them more about it

Bicycle collecting and restoring is a great hobby. Cool bike. I have been doing it for the last 25 years or so and you never stop learning new things. Have fun and keep collecting what you like.

Check out Huffman bicycles. It has the same type chain wheel and chain guard. The frame looks Huffman too. Pre Huffy, but well built.

I have had trouble pin pointing a year on my Huffman's. You seem to be right in saying late 30's early 40's. A book I like for reference is ,,The evolution of the bicycle. They have volume 1 & 2. L-W BOOK SALES. They were from the early 90's but are very good. Also ,, Introductory guide to collecting the classics. by James L. Hurd & Don A. Hennings. That one is 1987. It takes a lot of research to find everything but that's half the fun. Vontrike

I get my books at Borders, but most of the time I have to order from them. Also a bicycle store can sometimes get them. Prices are kind of tough to determine. It all depends on condition, and what someone will pay. Don't get caught up in crazy ebay prices. Terry Slavin on facebook.
