Welcome to CW. This is a new old stock day date GP automatics circa late 60s to early 70s piece with a stunning black dial and white minute track. Beautiful watch made by a famous factory.
granddad had some cool taste,..very cool retro look,..love these old style watches,..GP s are usualy fairlyh premium pieces I'd treasure it if I were you,..might lolok the band over close before you wear it,..might need some leather balm to soften it up,.after all this time unused I'd bet its pretty dry and it would suck to crack it up tryign to put it on
