    My great uncle used this for his crayons in elementary school back in the 1920's or so. I can't find any information on this. Can you help?

      I also have this item along with another 60 or so different wooden canisters. These were made in the 1920s-1940s and most come from a company called Brodhaven Mgf. out of Brooklyn, NY. You can find many of these pictured at my crayon collecting website at http://www.crayoncollecting.com
