As far as I can tell, it's a genuine Salviati glass tea cup and saucer. There is a faded signature on the base of the cup saying Salviati Venezia. The signature doesn't appear to be etched on, as it is smooth to the touch and is slightly irridescent, but is quite faded as you can see. I am told it dates to around 1920, but I am not sure. I collect Salviati, but haven't come across a piece like this before, although identicle applied lacework can be found on other makers porcelain.
