It is a ceramic, it is about 10" high and 10" wide.
It was a wedding gift from a British family, 25 years ago.
The colors are really brite, it is a piece that makes you think and look at it for a while.
At the bottom it has a logo of a crown and a circle with a cross like design inside the circle. If anyone has a piece like mine and knows the history of it, it would be great. When people come to my house and see it, I get a lot of questions and I do not have answers. I just know is beautiful.
Start with the words "majolica marks".
Do a google search.

I think you are right! I have seen some Majolica pieces, that have the same style fish, thank you. Now I know where to start reserching...I might find the artist.
I believe the mark is from Royal Worcester, and apparently the designs are dolphins
