I brought this back from Mercury, Texas in 1980. It was on the floor of a metal Silo. Converted tool shed. I spent the better part of a morning moving stuff off the old sign. My mom thought it hung in one of the old Gas stations in town. I've not found much about the old sign. But have determined this slogan was used in the twenties. It's a beater but I'm keeping it. It measures approx 40 inches in diameter. Only one side is printed on.
Poor ESSO sign. Stands for Eastern States Standard Oil.
