I think this is Egyptian in origin because I have seen other scarab necklaces that have this same style of wire wrapped links. The stone is
bloodstone with a huge 2.5 inch bloodstone pendant and two large bloodstone beads. The pendant is two-sided with two frames holding the stone in place. The beads are topped with flying griffin caps on the top and bottom. The links are wrapped in silver and curved connecting to alternating links which are wrapped in flowering vines. It is quite
unique and interesting to look at. Circa 1920??
