This doll has a tag that says Fairy Queen - Madame Alexander. I believe that all of her clothes are original. I am looking for any information that you might be able to give me. Also, her dress is very dingy looking. Is it possible to wash them or would that destroy the value?

Yes she is Fairy Queen and very desirable doll. One of the first hard plastic dolls made by Madame Alexander. Do not wash the tulle yourself it is fragile and could ruin dress . Best to leave this type of material alone . Collectors always prefer unwashed dress's that are clean and still have sizing in them . However when a dress is so dirty that dirt will damage it, it can be washed but not her dress. Very wonderful collection of dolls you posted ! You were Lucky and glad you shared. Welcome to CW !

Do you know approx what year she would have been made?

very late 1940's to early 50's :-) all you dolls you have posted are from that era except Scarlett she is newer . A super collection and I love their hair is all so wonderful still . They were not played with much , just dirty likey from poor storage . One thing is some hard plastic dolls get a very bad odor it smells like decomposing material or rotten eggs . Only some dolls got it and if none smell like that they never will . But if any do it does not go away. There are claims made by many for a cure but it returns and hopefully none of your dolls has it . What a beautiful collection WOW !
