    this item has a cast iron base approximately 12 inches in diameter and approximately 16 inches tall. the globe is red stained glass with red stained glass chips and some type of a mortar covering the red globe. the bird uptop is also cast iron. the lamp holds a candleup to three inches in dia.

      thank you PhilDavidAlexanderMorris for your comment I appreciate that. it's not really a candle holder though it has a ring on top to hang it but it also has three feet on the bottom to set it on the table top.
