    Topmost.. Sugar tongs marked TH MARTINSEN sterling NORWAY pattern #324. very fine piercing and detailed on handle and claws.
    Lower spoon : Marked Nils Johan Sweden e.p.n.s ALP ,silver plate.
    No wear on bowl or decorated handle.
    Bottom; Fork marked extra p.r.n.s. ALP. Sweden. Pattern matches above spoon. very deep detailing on excellent condition

      These are silverplate. I have seen the matching oyster forks but the spoon will be more collectible than the tongs, I believe.

      The upper set of tongs with the 5 claws is plainly marked "STERLING" Th Martthingsen, NORWAY the pattern is #324.
      The 2 below Forked tongs and spoon marked Nls Johan are marked EPNS which indicates Electro Plated Nickel Silver. I found them all on the internet to confirm.

      Hi, the Nils Johan pieces are in a pattern called "Amsterdam". This pattern is highly favored in Sweden. The Amsterdam butter spreaders and knife rests were produced in both sterling and EPNS. I have not seen your forked tongs or bonbon spoon in sterling. A lovely pattern! Glad you posted these.
