We are not sure if this is a Chinese, or Japanese painting. There is a hard to see signature in the lower righthand corner, the name starts with a K, but we cannot make the name out. We have provided a picture of the signature. If we could get any help indentifying this we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Thank you very much TA... Would you happen to know anyone that could help us with more backround information?...Thanks again!

Start with the Hanbok, and Gwanbok, Yungbok, and so on... You should find information in general, however you may not ever find out who the portrait is of, or which artist named Kim painted it.
