This lamp was my mothers and I have lived with it all of my life. Yet, I know nothing about its origins. I know it was purchased in 1960 and. I believe in New York and shipped to Florida. Yesterday my husband, deciding it needed to be rewired, tilted it and the ceramic part that sits around the bulb, crashed thought the bottom. I am of course heartbroken. It is about 50 inches tall and there were no markings I could find. I would love any information anyone can give me, in order for me to even begin to search for a replacement.

Check "Fortune Lamp Company" (Brooklyn, NY) - Their styles were very similar. I am checking their advertisements now for your lamp.

Thank you both. I will definitely have to purchase a new lamp - there is no repairing this one. I'm doubtful I will find an exact duplicate sadly. I'm going to try to look at this positively and consider myself on the hunt for the perfect lamp for this spot - which may take some time. Sometimes the hunt is as much fun as the find.
I will definitely check out the Fortune Lamp Company and will be in New York in a few weeks dragging my husband to every antique / mid-century / vintage store that I have time to visit.

I think I may have the exact lamp mine has frosted glass with what appears to be gold leaf deer around the bottom edge with a blue base
