This is a bone china cup & saucer set made by Heathcote, England. The Heathcote name was used by H. M. Williamson Potteries, Staffordshire, England. The pattern is the "Red Roses" pattern and the saucer & outside of cup have a light blue tinting. The inside of the cup background is pure white. Both cup & saucer have gold embellished rims and the cup also has gold around the bottom and on the handle. Backstamps on both pieces read Heathcote / Bone China / Made in England. - Circa 1940's
