Not sure what I have here. There is a picture labled Salisbury Cathedral, another labled Dartmouth castle and the final labled image is Norwich. There are cherry blossoms and butterflys and an image of the sea with mountains in the background. The base of the tureen is a pedastal with legs and it stands 6" tall 11" long and 8" wide at the widest point. The lid adds more height. The platter is 11" wide and 16" long measuring from handle to handle. I would love to know the pattern name and age. There is some crazing but it is in near perfect condition. It is a pretty tureen and I would love to know more about it.

Manikin, I do believe you are correct. I searched James Beech and found the same pattern as I have here https://sites.google.com/site/johnbeech02/jamesbeech I am so excited!!! Thanks for your help! I assumed the JB was Johnson Brothers but it turns out JB is James Beech and Dartmouth is the pattern!!! Now I wonder how I can tell how old this tureen is?

Glad I could help I had seen his work before and thought it looked like it . Glad you found exact pattern :-) I would say it would have to be
1822-1887 as the page says . Rather a broad time period but his work is hard to find dated . Maybe someone can tell exact date but you have name of maker and pattern name :-) Welcome to CW and glad you found us and hope to see you again with your collections or collectibles . Nice to met you :-)

Thank you again so much for your help! I narrowed down the years by the mark on the back doing some other internet research 1877-1889. So nice to have met you and I appreciate all your help! I had no idea it was so old. That explains why I never found any plates that match.
