I bought these a few years ago at a bankrupt chevy dealer's auction.I purchased the whole attic for $60 took everything out I wanted(a truck load) ,sold the rest of the room for $10 to a scraper.
I REALLY ticked off the losing bidder ,when I carried these out!For 1 he didn't look the room over very well ,2nd he stopped bidding!He was so mad he went and yelled at the auctioneer,who turned around and congratulated me.
These date to the 1920's and are endcaps for counters,I would assume parts counters,they expand to about 3 feet wide.
