This tango piece has flowers drawn in between the rods. The execution is by Franz Wilms who decorated many Tango pieces, (especially white). I was told on a recent trip to Vienna that only the "Father and son" could draw this pattern.
Here is another color combination with the Wilms flower decor.
" Die einzigen beiden Maler, die diese Blumen anfertigen durften, waren Franz Wilms und sein Sohn Otto." ?
Yes, Men painting little flowers. It may not be true but when you look at enough of the Wilms pieces they are exactly the same as if they were painted on the same day.
