Recently Purchased a box of old cap guns and found this and 2 other old Nazi German Dagger handles in the bottom of the box. This dagger handle is in awesome shape but im not sure of the dagger it belonged to I was told maybe Luftwaffe. Its about 3 1/2 in long and has the original wire chain still attached. I was hoping someone may know what group it belonged to.
This dagger Handle appears to be from a nazi German Kriegsmarine dress dagger. 1940-1945
Looks like a 2nd model Luftwaffe dagger grip, could be navy but looks more luft to me.
Hi. I realize this post is old but do you still have this handle? Been searching for one this color for a while. My grandfather landed on Anzio and engaged in hand to hand combat with an officer who had this dagger. The office stabbed my grandfather with it but he was able to pull it out and ended the officer’s life with it. Years later my dad dropped it and broke the handle.
