I have another mystery watch on my hands (or wrist). Here's a vintage wrist watch featuring "Drooper" the lion from the old Hanna-Barbara show "The Banana Splits".
I could find any information about this watch in any of the price guides. Nor could I find any examples of it online. I checked eBay and other auction sites. A Google search turned up nothing.
Apparently, I am not the only one who cannot find information proving the existence of this watch . . . My Google search turned up an old blog post from a guy complaining that his wife wanted a "Banana Splits" watch and after going on a long and fruitless search online and offline for one, he finally had to resort to having one custom made for her.

Has anyone ever seen this particular watch before? If so, your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Interestingly for fans of the book "Comic Character Timepieces" by Hy Brown, I discovered that this is the actual Drooper watch from Hy Brown's collection that he featured on page 92 of his book. Not sure why the hands are not the character hands. But this is how the watch appears in Hy Brown's book.
Just to clarify....don't you have most of those "featured" in the Hy Brown book :-)
