    This is an Ashworth Ironstone platter with a brown transferware print made by G.L. Ashworth, England. The platter measures 15 1/2" long by 12" wide. The Ashworth name is impressed on the back along with a small square mark which I believe is the pattern identification number. The platter was well-used and shows signs of natural aging, some light
    - - - - - - - - - - crackling, and some small imperfections which was normal. - Circa 1870's
