This is a neat little piece. The dish is 4 1/2" to the top of the stick handle and 6 1/4" in diameter. Dates from around 1905. The period for American Brilliant cut Glass was from 1875 - 1916.

Could it have been a Sweetmeat dish/Compote with the base/bottom stem now missing? RER

loumanal these were just as you see it. A number of companies cut these and most had different names. These can be found in all cut glass books.

Having just found one of these nifty pieces yesterday I began researching it as soon as I got home. Googling all sorts of descriptions to no avail did not appear promising. This morning with deep concentration, I started again, this time looking for miniature AB cut glass reamers, thinking it might have been for juicing lemons and limes. When I was almost ready to give up, I looked at images and found your post. I created an account and voila, here I am!!
