I have a potbelly stove, but mine is a electric heater. The light and heater is in the belly of the stove. When the light is on it looks like a fire is in the stove. It has two controls one for the light and one for the heater. It measures 26 inches tall 14 inches wide and 15 inches in depth. It weights about 80 pounds. It says BD&CO. on the handle but I don't know if that is the right part for it. And inside the bottom door it has the numbers 84115-7. That is all the information I have on it. I would like to know if this used to be a wood and coal stove or someone put the light and heater in it. The parts for the light and heater do not look new. It looks like the parts were made for it. If anyone knows anything about it will help me put a price one it. Thanks
It looks very similiar to this one:

Have one with "Majestic Co." "Huntington Ind" on the inside of the middle door...on the lower door inside it reads "4-11-oak. on the ouside of middle door is a '30"..... dimensions are exact...I bought it 45 yrs. ago in Lafayette, Ind.Have been asked to sell it but have no idea what it's worth..
We have a very similar one even has the exhaust pipe vent, we bought it at a yard sale about 15 years ago for $25 but hve no idea what it would be worth. It works great. It is the old coil type heat element we think it is form the 50's or 60's
meme2012 is there any way you can put a picture of your stove? Would like to see it. Thanks Rip
Mine has been stored for the last few years but we just pulled it out to heat a playroom in the basement for the grandkids still works great. Trying to figure out how to post a picture
Just posted pics under electric pot belly stove
Hi Rip,
I know this is an old post but I just saw it. I have a stove exactly like yours. They were definitely factory built this way. If you notice, none of the vents are operable, the Iron is cast with the faux vents open. open. Also, there are no smoke baffles or coal/ash drawers.
Thanks for reply finally found one like mine!!!! It's been awhile I still have mine I use it in my computer room in the winter can you show me some pictures of your Heater and does your say where its made I have not found out anything the Stove. Thanks Rip P.S. I e-mailed you did you when receive it I replyed back when I got the message.
I have this exact stove. Bottom door says 84115-7. I put an led bulb temporarily for pictures. What kind of light do I put in place of the old reddish one that was shattered inside?
