really neat purple Wedgefield alarm clock,..metal hammer and alarm switch and decent lume on the hands,..not sure how old,.had some pretty gnarly bugs dead in the face of it and rattling round inside it so blew it out dismantled it washed out glass and blew off the paper dial , a little nanolube and its back in business,.. brass is very tarnished on the legs and handle,..but the purple paint is in pretty dang fine shape cept for a couple chips,..keeping good time if a litle loud,..strange ive got 3 like this and 2 very quiet and this one is bunches louder,..ah well sounds healthy anyhow
Really like the "Retro" styling dial markers and Hands, very cool
thanks Kerry love these old twinbells,.and lucky for me this ones purple so i can give it to the wife((big purple fan)
wow i wonder how many names these clocks were sold under,..ive got a linden , a wedgefield , just saw a chamford /jerger listed here,..,..and as far as i can see they are the same clock,..must have been licensed all over creation anyone know who actualy made em?
Hi,
Jerger was probably the maker of your clock. Chambord, Wedgefield were probably retailers. I thought that Linden was more a maker, but I'm not sure. Your clock dates to the 1960's or the 70's.
Regards.
