18" high, must be bottom side up to read green label. Has a pump mechanism for dispensing liquid. I want to repurpose both as lamp bases but do not want to damage them. Glass inside is not damaged. I can't understand why Stanley Label is up-side-down.

For a coffee dispenser, could have had a holder/stand for it.

These are US Army Air Force pieces. Part no. V 4115 Stock Number: Code 8300 Serial 039820, use in B17 Bombers to supply hot coffee for the pilot and radioman, circa 1943.

I think Universal made Stanley Thermos over the decades along with about 4-5 other American Vendors. If, so these may the only ones made with Glass inside Vacuum bottle. All Stanley's were made not to break. I have a 1913 Stanley similar to these inverted models.

I hope the Thermos were not compromised. Regardless of the Stanley name.

It's probably way too late, but don't make these into lamps!

They art upside down because there is no pumping mechanism. They were used on flights to serve hot coffee. Turning the taps, the coffee/hot water comes out by gravity.

There is no glass inside to damage. They are stainless steel. That was the Stanley difference.

I've been researching these quite a bit lately. Please let me know if you'd like to exchange pictures or anything to help date them more accurately.

      They are very nice!
