Earlier this year I studied abroad in London and at the end of the semester I travelled to the Inner Hebrides, Scotland. I pried the tooth from an old sheep's skull I found on the northeastern coast of the Isle of Skye. The skull was bleached white and worn down from the wash of the tide, so it must have been a couple of months old by the time I found it. The Isle of Skye was like nothing had seen before and I felt I had to take something home from there.
