This great little item is bout 3 inches (7Cm) tall. The dome is glass and the base is Bakelite. And the thermometer still accurately reads the temperature.
It promotes Koppers Coke. The phone # indicates that this item is quite old. As you can see, it is unfortunate that its location is not listed.
I love these cool vintage advertising pieces.

Koppers Coke did have facilities/docks on the Delaware River in Philadelphia.
The head office was in Pittsburgh, but they were registered as a Delaware company.

That is interesting, walksoftly...and it seems to fit, as the thermometer was in a box lot that i acquired in Eastern PA...not too far from Philadelphia. thank you for the input....
