I bought this necklace again at a flea market. I didn't like it at first but my husband did (for once) so I decided it was worth the 2 euro's they asked for it. Its stamped 835, so its silver and I think brass for the back of the rhinestones. Not all paste stones aged the same way, some look a bit darker than the rest, but this adds to its charm. At first I thought it was made in the first half of the 20th century, but now I have done some more research and I believe its Victorian. It depicts two wings and a heart.
Does anyone know what this means? Thanks a lot!
Thanks Agram and DrFluffy for loving my necklace
Very nice.
Newtimes, did you just get married? I noticed in this post you talked about your husband. Four days ago you talked about your boyfriend on the blackamoor brooch post. OR maybe you collect other things. :)))))))))))))
Jono your so funny!
Husband, boyfriend...we have been together for about half of my life now. And he proposed to me years ago. So I dont know how I should call him.
I used to collect jobs though: I had about 9 of them in 6 years time. I think thats much more easy than changing boyfriend so often :-)
