Philip Henry Sheridan Autograph - Civil War General, General of the Armies of the United States

Notable general Philip Henry Sheridan from Western Civil War battles like Stone's River and Chickamauga. He later went West with Grant where he was famous for "the Burning" of the Shenandoah Valley. His most famous accomplishment from the war was "Sheridan's Ride" from Winchester, VA to the Cedar Creek Battlefield. A famous poem was even written about the event.
