    This Roy Cox car is in perfect condition except for a small scratch on the front. Does any one know the real year this car was made and some of the details about the numbers?

      Late 40's ,could you post a pic of the underside?I would guess the # you are referring too(#8)was just the owners choice.Cool push car.thanks for posting!

      I think what you have is a Thimble Drome Special tether car, without the engine installed. The push cars don't have eye-hooks for the tether wire. Probably 1947.
