The first picture with two carts are 27" long and 13" tall at the seat. The wheels are 8" spoke solid rubber style. Steering is the original 'wagon-wheel' style.

The second cart is an adult size and is about 50" long and 18" tall at the seat. The tires are 13" diameter, spoked with solid rubber tires. Steering is the original 'wagon-wheel' style.

The third picture was a cart with a 5 speed derailleur transmission. The tires were pneumatic spoked wheels from a baby buggy. Steering was still the original 'wagon-wheel' style. I changed it on the next cart because the wagon-wheel style is not to bump and rock friendly at higher speeds.

The forth picture is a welded steel rail cart with a 3-speed rear hub unit by Nexus and is found on many mid-range newer bicycles. The steering is done with the push/pull handle through a mechanical steering knuckle system. It took a little while to figure the mechanics, but after 2 days it was sorted out and actually works well. Top speed with this unit is around 15 on flat ground.
