This 1956 'Junior League' wristwatch is a companion piece to Manikin's recent posting of a 'Junior Nurse' wristwatch. I was going to cut off a horse's tail for him kerry to glue on :-) Love the watch and you take much better close ups than I do Geo . Now they can hang out and the Nurse will take care of ball players injuries . Funny how back them career's were defined as male and female. A girl was not shown playing sports and a boy never as a nurse . Not so true today as many male Nurses nearly as women and many womans baseball leagues :-)
Mani, I don't think Ingraham would be selling many watches if yours become a 'Junior Male Nurse' with a man wearing nurses uniform on the dial! However, a woman baseball player could be big hit!
LOL they wear scrubs now all nurses . You would be surprised how many male nurses there are and they are very good. It has become a very technical and skilled job and we do more complicated machinery and now even prescribe meds . It is a good career and steady work . To MUCH work but always a need for them . :-)) and besides it is nice to work with men women can be well ..... as a group harder to work with and a man is much nicer to look at too ! lol
