    not many of these originals left as they are so delicate. i bought this at least 10 years ago about 8 dollars at a garage sale. he drinks water for days. i think the drip takes time to evaporate and also some drips off his tail. if you keep the water full he will go forever. almost free energy. but not.

      I remember these from yrs ago & lost sleep trying to figure out how they work! Please tell me that you know.

      Its the difference in temperature between the beek and the tail.
      Just read if it runs out of water it will still move if you heat its tail with something.
      Check wikipedia on google.
