I went to visit my folks in new england last week and got a tour of my neighbor's summer place. It was nice to be there during winter without all the owners there. i was able to get lots of photos. this is a very old home - parts of it were built in 1805 by the family which still owns it. there are many tiles like these throughout the gardens. i'd like to know more about them.
Is that a millstone in #4 or a mosaic made to look like one?
