norwegian hunter's knife - Helle

normally i'm not carrying a knife with me
but last week i bought a collection of folding knifes because they've been too cheap to leave them behind

and today i bought this hunter's knife in a sheath.... why?
i somehow liked it because of this very short blade

it's not an i kill elephants and crocodiles just with my knife blade
it's more an i want some marmelade on my bread blade

i think it is an early helle nying knife by the brothers Steinar and Sigmund Helle .
should be made short after they started knife production on their farm in Holmeland in 1932 .

but it's just a wild guess
