Mid 1930s fan with bakelite base. Bakelite being an early form of plastic. It also has a unique two bladed propeller style for the fan blades. I bought this for my brother for his birthday. Sadly he liked it as I kind of wanted to keep it. It is in near mint condition works perfectly including oscillating.

Thank you very much Thomas. I fear I don't know much about fans from Singapore. I have just been collecting American fans. If it was made for the American market I don't think it would be older than the 1960s. Post it and I can tell more.
