Set of Creepy Cufflinks

I've looked and looked and then looked some more and can't really find any information on these cufflinks. I acquired these from an online auction recently that was part of a huge lot of victorian and art nouveau jewelry along with misc items like these. Reminds me of something one would wear for halloween. I am not sure what the white animal head is made of but it looks to be attached to an oval type of wood. Thought interesting and figured someone would like these as well! :)
