Hello friends. I put a vintage wooden tray on top for stability and It's the best nightstand ever. I have so many more pieces of vintage luggage and just adore it. I use it for strage and I just use it in general. I have a needlepoint one that is divine. Now I need hat boxes (round tables!)

I'm undecided as to whether you have too much imagination or not enough.

blunderbuss2, that was mean, but I can take it. Thank god for PhillDavidAlexanderMorris, who, byt the way, has the most amazing mid century hospital chairs I've ever seen.

Yeah, who am I to talk. I have 2 salvaged, after a hurricane from a resort, bedside stands! Since I have made furniture for yrs, I have no excuse for still having them.

Amy has me pegged. And all this time I thought I was sly enough to do it in such a way as everybody thought somebody else started it. Hey, got to keep the s--t stirred or it gets lumpy! I'll have to change my MO.
Now, TlovesS. Ck my site. I have made so many things that I have been studying how joints on furniture in places only to realize that I made it. That's not my profession but after making my own furniture, friends saw my work & things got out of control after that for some yrs.. Everything from bar tops to displays, desks, cabinets, easels, pic. frames & custom home furniture. Most of those pics from that era aren't digital. I have a humorous shop book I made, but here again, not digital. All my helpers were girls so it was easy to tag humour to the pics.. Some might even be banned on CW.

I love your collection. I enjoy making my luggage fit into my home. It also hides it from my husband. I have no dresser, but do have luggage. TV stand, DVD storage, end tables, just stacks and a trunk, tiled on top for coffee table.

Hey there! I miss all you hazing mofos. Have not been on the site in ages, sadly. Yeah, so thank you about the vintage suitcases. Firstly, gargoykecollector, no they're just stacked which is not super functional for me because I have limited space so every bit counts. Even if it's stuff you don't use often, can be a pain in the arse taking each one off, opening, rearranging, putting whatever it is back. And ultimately they don't hold that much or I'd do like a winter summer type of thing. I've seen people cut off the front and turn the into the front of dresser drawers or attach the first 1/4 from the front to walks as bookshelves. But the cutest I've seen is lots of people use them as per beds! Usually attaching four stout legs. I wish I had something new and exciting to post. I got nothin!!!
