An extremely rare Kralik 'Sea Urchin' vase with an applied decoration... in this case a berry!..which looks so delish!.. thick and heavy you want to just pick it off and pop!.. it in your mouth....This was one of a pair bought by the owner I believe around 1930 and! unfortunately I missed out one the other one....quite!!!..happy to have one of them..:-)))
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever have the privilege of owning one! Kralik sea urchin never mind two..but!.. here I am with two!...and I am soooooooo! tickled pink with this one.. it is it is the most STUNNING!! vase and in excellent condition.
It stands approx.... 20cm x 11cm in diameter at the base or... 8" x 4.1/4".
Hope you like it as much as I do, thanks for looking...:-))))))
OMG! I would trade some of my vases for some of yours!!!! XO
Lol!...thank you Moonstonelover21..you have some wonderful galss...:-)
Inky, I have to admit....your treasures far surpass mine any day!!! But thanks...as someone said to me...my vases are just starter vases.....and a puny amount! Lol :)
Not a bad start me thinks!!..:-)
They go well together too, inky!
Congratulations!
Thank you vetrio50..the red cedar 'what not' doesn't really do much for the photo but the bowl is anchored down so firmly on the what-not and I didn't want to un-anchor it ...:-)

inky, still dreaming berries XO
Greetings, inky! Heard that there was a remarkable glass item on CW today, but not a clue as to its identity. Surely this is it! You amaze me, woman. : o So happy for you! Warning to Blunderbuss - beware! I finally broke down and purchased a vase. So, sir, you are the last man in the last line defending us against Kraliks. Seriously, inky, congratulations!!! : D Striking vase!!!
I keep coming back again and again to look at this vase. I just love it and its so different! I wish I'd been the other lucky buyer for its partner. To own even one of this pair would be great. You did well scoring this! What a rare pair and possibly the only two out there.
miKKoChristmas11 so pleased you commented on my vase and to see you back for a minute..even more thrilled that you like my vase I knew one day you would come over to the glass side..:-))....please!...when you can.. you must show us your Kralik..you have me intrigued!...:-)..xoxoxox
S2G..I'm so pleased you are enjoying this vase..it is a stunner and I feel very privileged to own it.... they were bought as a pair and had been with the same a family since 1930..how much older if at all! they are than that..I am not sure...thank you for your lovely comment!...:-)

I have no doubt that Santa will look after you...:-)
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, inky!!! Many thanks for your very kind wishes!!! Sorry - I misspoke - I didn't buy one of your grand Kraliks; I bought a small Murano vase - the one I showed you this Summer. It would blush besides your magnificent pieces. Thank you for the courtesy, though!!! : )
Mikko, I pledge to fight to the last man! Wait one minute! Don't see anybody behind me! Kraplic is be beginning to look better every moment. LOL. Hey we had fun with that but milked it dry. I skipped giving a LUV to many pieces to keep my image. I'm using paper targets now, but only because of the trouble of cleaning up broken glass. ;o))
Blunderbuss, I understand. Inky does find awfully winsome Kraliks - a lot of the time. Perhaps she'll help you find one. I do agree that the broken glass gets to be a drag. Enjoy your holidays and don't worry about Zombies or Kraliks. It's too late. : )
Mikko, Zombies, Jumbies & Kraplics be damned. Only shelves left are in my bedroom & I refuse! May-be, with a subtle soft back-lighting. Am I collaborating? I'm a lost cause. We will rise again mikko when the time is right. I'm from the former Confederacy & we know how to be patient & wait.
Looking at the fourth photo - 1 + 1 = 5. Not new math, the two REALLY compliment each other
VioletOrange...Many thanks, I really very very!! lucky to have these two..and!...I like your adding up!...:-)
miKKo...you know you can do no wrong in my eyes...never need to apologize about nutting!..;-)
Also thank you...
